The rustle of people and chatter of topics from music to films and the latest you tube video, still resonate in the corners of my mind. The past weeks were filled with visits from the youth so they had more of a chance to connect with Adam who is working with me for two months. The joy of the fellowship fills the silence with life and a reminder how much those here mean to me.
I praise the lord for the resources and energy to be able to cook for the teens. Now I just need to spend a day with a friend of mine to gather tips on cooking for large groups, yummy dishes which fill one up at a cheaper price. It is certainly more evident to me that if I do not make a regular point of writing you, there is so much you will miss out on from my everyday life.
Right now i’m beat from grocery shopping, preparing a message for the girl’s group age 9-14 years (Mädelschar) next week, TEN SING practice (after school creative arts program), the arrival of Shon Abram, Jugend Konvent (a collection of leaders from every youth and kids group with in the group of churches where I work), and more thoughts for the Worship evening which will be tomorrow. So I am going to say good night!
The ways of the Lord are not our ways. His thoughts not our thoughts. Grandmas bags are packed and she’s moved to her palace in heaven, sooner then we thought but she’s in good hands.
The American has Landed 🙂 Ich bin gelanded! Ich werde versuchen wochenlich ein update an http://www.nowgermanyblogspot.com zu Schreiben, meistens so ich mein Denglisch nicht verlehre ;).
Pray for me! Four weeks until I travel home for a six week visit and I still have so much to prepare, as well as keeping up with the wonderful things i get to do here.
God is good! It is obvious to me today that God uses strange ways to bring us into our calling- purpose in life. Dad is visiting His second home again- the hospital- this time due to something with Blood Pressure etc. But already he’s burning the midnight oil in long talks with the patient sharing his room.
The groggy voice on the other side of the Skype cellphone call has confirmed the success of the first operation for my dad. Thanks for the prayers, now recovery time and he can have his second operation. Danke alle fuer euer Gebet! Alles ist gut mit das OP fuer mein Vater, das ende fuer die Erste OP.
Call to prayer! Today @ 7:30 am (USA) seek God for peace and wisdom as the Dr.s operate on my dad’s neck to move a disc away the nerve. Heute ab 16:30 bitte ein Gebet zum Gott von die Bibel ausrichten fuer mein Papa, als er ein Bandscheibe OP am hals haben muss.
